Daubner Dominates Luxemburg Street Stock Shootout!

September 6, 2002; Luxemburg, WI. – Sturgeon Bay’s Tom Daubner took the lead at the drop of the green and never looked back, capturing the 25 lap $500 street stock shootout at Luxemburg Speedway Friday night. The victory was Daubner’s second straight at the speedway in just four appearances at the track this season. Daubner also scored a clean sweep of the night’s activities by winning his heat race.

In other action hometown driver Dave Zeitler ducked underneath Eric Van Iten for the lead on a lap five restart and cruised to his first 22 lap modified feature…

Dart Collects Second Luxemburg IMCA Mod Main

August 30, 2002; Luxemburg, WI. – Algoma’s Todd “Felix” Dart had his hands full with hotshoes Jay Schraufnagel and brothers Brian and Scott Mullen in the closing laps but was able to fend off the trio to claim his second 25 lap IMCA modified feature of the season at Luxemburg Speedway Friday night.

It was the final points night for the five divisions that count points in the their respective classes. By virtue of his sixth place finish in the main Green Bay’s Eddie Muenster collected his third IMCA modified track championship. In the IMCA stock car class…

Klenz Wins First IMCA Mod Main, Christians Wins 21st Stock Main!

August 23, 2002; Luxemburg, WI. – Sobieski’s Mike Klenz grabbed the lead on lap 10 and went on to win his first 25 lap IMCA modified feature of the season at Luxemburg Speedway Friday night. Meanwhile Horicon’s Jeremy Christians continued his domination of the IMCA stock car division in Wisconsin, as the former state champ picked up his 21st IMCA stock car feature win of the season at state dirt tracks.

Mike Coel of Green Bay all but assured himself his first Luxemburg Speedway track title with his fifth 20 lap street stock feature of the season….
