Luxemburg Finale Truly Spectacular!

October 2, 2004; Luxemburg, WI. – Simply put, the Fall Spectacular lived up to its name.

Fueled by a record setting field of cars and exciting feature finishes, the curtain fell on the 2004 racing season in grand fashion Saturday night at the Luxemburg Speedway in Luxemburg. Despite dozens of visiting teams, all five features trophies went to drivers with plenty of Luxemburg experience.

September 3, 2004; Luxemburg, WI. – While not intended for racing, the famous quote from legendary baseball personality Yogi Berra is perfect for describing Friday night’s modified feature at the Luxemburg Speedway. The quote: “It ain’t over…’till it’s over.”

Such was the case for Scott Mullen, as the recently crowned track champ saw a huge lead wiped away by caution, then needed to fight off a determined Jeremy Jacobs to win the Prestige Custom Cabinetry 40 lap modified special taking home $1,500 in the process. August 27, 2004; Luxemburg, WI. – Feature winners shared the spotlight with champions as the Luxemburg Speedway wrapped up its 2004 points season Friday night.

Benji LaCrosse continued his late season hot streak as he raced away to his second straight feature win in the IMCA modifieds, marking three victories in the last four weeks of the year. LaCrosse was joined in the winner’s circle by IMCA stocker Greg Gretz, Dave Lane in the IMCA hobby stocks and Tyler Smith in the Sport 4s.
