Werbelow Shades Siefert In Luxemburg IMCA Modified Special!

September 16, 2006; Luxemburg, WI. – Second year driver Dave Werbelow of Shawano passed Green Bay’s Jared Siefert for the lead with two laps to go to win his first ever 35 lap IMCA modified feature at Luxemburg Speedway Saturday night. The win was worth $1,500.

Werbelow earned his first victory the hard way, battling his way into the feature via a second place finish in one of two semi-features. Werbelow started 16th.

LaCrosse Wins Dash, Earns Pole in Luxemburg Two Day Special!

September 15, 2006; Luxemburg, WI. -Hometown driver Benji LaCrosse won the 12 lap IMCA style modified dash, earning the pole position for tomorrow night’s $1,500-to-win Fall Classic sponsored by Augie’s Sports Bar and Grill.

LaCrosse also won his heat, earning a sweep for the evening. 170 cars were in attendance, including 32 modifieds, 40 stock cars, 22 hobby stocks, 22 street stocks, 8 grand nationals, 17 eastern 8’s and 26 sport fours. Tonight’s dash finishes will determine the first five or six rows with a straight up start, with the winner of each dash earning the pole positions for tomorrow…

LaCrosse Claims IMCA Modified Feature Win, Point Title!

September 1, 2006; Luxemburg, WI. -Hometown driver Benji LaCrosse passed Chad Wilcox of Pulaski on lap 17 and went on to win his fifth 30 lap IMCA modified feature of the season at Luxemburg Speedway Friday night.

LaCrosse also nailed down his second straight track championship and his 12th feature win on area ovals.

103 cars were in attendance, including 30 IMCA modifieds, 37 IMCA stock cars, 21 IMCA hobby stocks and 15 sport fours.
