Welsing Dominates Luxemburg Enduro!

October 13, 2007; Luxemburg, WI. — Veteran enduro racer Todd Welsing sped away to the win Saturday afternoon in the first ever 200 lap Tisler Salvage Compact Car Enduro at the Luxemburg Speedway in Luxemburg.

Welsing topped an interesting field of competitors, including many racers from the area enduro circuits as well as a collection of Luxemburg’s Friday night regulars.

Mark Mincheski, a former Street Stocker at Luxemburg, looked to be the man to beat early. He took command on the 50th lap, pulling away to what appeared to be a comfortable lead. Welsing was locked in a battle…

Nick Anvelink Nabs Luxemburg FASTRAK!

September 15, 2007; Luxemburg, WI. — Navarino’s Nick Anvelink passed Troy Springborn for the lead on lap 14 and went on to win the caution free 30 lap Fastrak late model feature at Luxemburg Speedway Friday night. A total of 220 cars competed during the two day show.

Clintonville’s Jeremy Hedrick sifted his way through lapped cars and fought off Mike Wedelstadt of Hortonville to pick up the 35 lap modified feature. Wedelstadt took second, followed by Luxemburg’s Benji LaCrosse, Seymour’s Brian Mullen and track champion Jared Siefert of Green Bay.

LaCrosse Nabs Luxemburg IMCA Mod Main!

August 31, 2007; Luxemburg, WI. — Hometown driver Benji LaCrosse grabbed the lead on a lap 18 restart and
went on to win the IMCA modified feature at Luxemburg Speedway Friday night.

Champions were crowned in the five track divisions, including Green Bay’s Jared Siefert, who captured the IMCA modified crown one week prior. Other champions were Jamie Colwell of Greenleaf in the IMCA stock cars, De Pere’s Tim Jorgenson in the IMCA northern sportmods, Lomira’s Jesse Kanas in the IMCA hobby stocks and Suamico’s JJ Anderson in the sport four division.
