Scribner, Bailey, and Gerrits Prevail During Battle By The Bay

Luxemburg,WI – 9/26/14 – Fantastic late September weather greeted race fans during the first annual Battle By The Bay presented by Professional Plating Inc. Will Gerrits, Bryce Bailey, and Eric Scribner went home with impressive wins to their credit.

Waupun’s Will Gerrits was the class of the field during the 600 Micro Sprint feature. Gerrits led wire to wire to en route to the victory. Antigo’s Jake Reif fiished second in the race. Tyler Brabant of Waupun crossed the line in third.

Tisler Fall Classic — Tisler Fall Marathon.

Either title fits the season ending “scheduled” two day race weekend at the Luxemburg Speedway that went in the books this past weekend.

Scheduled as a two-day affair, persistent rains on Friday transformed the event into a single day show Saturday; including all scheduled qualifiers and finals, plus a Race of Champions program for three of the competing divisions.

Mahlik, Van Straten, Kleczka, Moede and Kickbusch Take Control at Luxemburg Speedway

(Luxemburg, WI) The championship season ends next Friday night at Luxemburg Speedway. Some drivers took their games to the next level to help secure championships next week.

Feature winners included: Eric Mahlik(IMCA Modifieds) Travis Van Straten(IMCA Stockcars) Andy Kleczka(IMCA Sportmods) Derek Moede(IMCA Hobby Stocks) and Keith Kickbusch(Street Stocks.)

Dave Zeitler used a 3-wide move on the first lap of the IMCA Modified feature to take control. Zeitler found a top birm on the track and drove his right rear wheel all the way around the 1/3 mile….
