TWO DAY FALL CLASSIC SEPT. 18 & 19 TO CLOSE CURTAIN ON LUXEMBURG SPEEDWAY FOR 2009
(Luxemburg, WI) – The 2009 Fall Classic presented by Tisler Salvage will take place at Luxemburg Speedway Friday and Saturday September 18 and 19 and close the curtain on the 2009 season at the third-mile, clay oval.
Seven divisions of cars will compete in a pair of complete shows both nights. The track’s weekly contingent of the IMCA modifieds, stock cars, northern sportmods, hobby stocks and sport fours will be in action. In addition, the street stocks and grand nationals will also be competing.
Hot laps begin at 6:10 p.m. with the first race at 6:30 p.m. Friday night. On Saturday hot laps get underway at 4:15 p.m. with the first race at 4:30 p.m. Hobby stocks from tracks at 141, Chilton and Manitowoc Speedways will be allowed to compete under their track rules. With regards to the street stocks if you are legal at the following tracks you are legal for this event: Seymour, Sturgeon Bay, Powercom, Oshkosh and Chilton.
Sport fours legal to compete from the following tracks will be allowed to race: Luxemburg, Sturgeon Bay, Seymour, Chilton, Oshkosh, Powercom and 141. There will be no claim in all divisions. All pit spots will be on a first come, basis.
