IT’S RAIN YET AGAIN AT LUXEMBURG SPEEDWAY JUNE 11, RACES CANCELLED

(Luxemburg, WI) June 11 – Heavy rains have forced Luxemburg Speedway track officials to cancel the races scheduled for June 11. It was the fifth rainout of the year at the third-mile, clay oval. To date, only three races have been run in 2010.

Next Friday, June 18 Robinson Metals will sponsor the races. The kid’s coin toss will be held next Friday night.

The Badger State Showdown presented by CZ’s Bushville Lanes will take place Thursday June 24 and Friday June 25. A $30,000 payout, the largest payout of any IMCA sanctioned event in Wisconsin, is on tap. Two complete shows will be run each night and a handful of out-of-state drivers are expected to participate. Racing gets underway Friday at 7 p.m. For more information call 920 845 2300.
