LUXEMBURG SPEEDWAY CAR SHOW SET FOR SUNDAY, APRIL 11
(Luxemburg, WI) March 15 — Luxemburg Speedway will host it’s second annual pre-season car show Sunday, April 11 at East Town Mall in Green Bay from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Trophies will be awarded as the “Best of Show” to cars in the following classes: IMCA modified, stock car, northern sportmod, stock car, hobby stock and sport fours. An open class which will feature divisions such as grand nationals, street stocks, etc. will also be included. Those trophies will be awarded on opening night, April 23.
“We’re looking for another solid year,” said track manager Rick Goral. “So far we’ve already got 91 pit stalls sold, and 25 IMCA hobby stock drivers registered, our highest number ever for that class. This great weather has got the fans, drivers and track workers itching to get ready for the new racing season.”
The show will take place in the Office Max area parking lot. An open practice session will take place at the third-mile, clay oval on Friday, April 16 from 6 to 9 p.m. The practice is free to the public and is open to any and all divisions of cars.
