Algoma Motors Night and Mother’s Day Special at Luxemburg Speedway

(Luxemburg, WI)- This Friday Night May 11th, the second night of the season is slated to take place at Luxemburg Speedway. Algoma Motors will be sponsoring the night. Racing gets started at 7 p.m. Mothers who are accompanied to the races with their children will receive admission for half price on her adult ticket. The five regular divisions will be in action.

Cory Cochart sits on top of the Kewaunee County Tavern League IMCA Modified standings. Cochart scored his first career IMCA Modified win last week. Cochart held off charges by “Rocket” Ron Berna for the win.

John Heinz started up front and finished in the number one spot in the Olson Fabrication IMCA Stockcar main event. Larry Karcz Jr came from 20th on a lap two restart after breaking a shock to finish second.

The Tri-County Heating IMCA Northern Sportmod opener went to Josh Long. Long held off all the pressure given to him from 2011 champ Brad Lautenbach for the win.

In the Todd Wiese Home Selling Team IMCA Hobby Stocks, Scott Boulanger took control of the standings with his win. Tom Brumlic looks to be an early candidate for the title after finishing on the back bumper of Boulanger.

Ralph Liegeois is looking for his second 4 Cylinder championship in 2012. The repeat is on early after his opening night win.

The Pedal Pusher 2012 will be held at Luxemburg Speedway on Friday June 1st. This Friday the Pedal Pusherettes will be having a pre-sale on T-shirts for their ride to help end cancer. They will have a table at the entrance to the grandstands. The pre-sale begins at 5 p.m.
