Big Wheel Races This Friday Night July 27th at Luxemburg Speedway

(Luxemburg, WI)- This Friday Night American 3 Fab will be sponsoring the Luxemburg Speedway Races. Big Wheel races will be held at intermission for the kids. The future of Luxemburg Speedway will get to take to the track. The regular 5 divisions will be in action. Racing gets motored up at 7 p.m.

In last weeks modified action. Benji LaCrosse returned to victory lane in an unsanctioned event. LaCrosse made a last lap pass on point leader Sean Jerovetz to take the win. Jerovetz is the current IMCA Modified point leader by 7 over Shawn Kilgore.

John Heinz won the first 2 features in the IMCA Stockcars in 2012. He finally returned to victory lane and gained in the chase for the championship trophy last week. Heinz trails point leader Troy Muench by 11 points entering this Friday.

Eric Mahlik took home his first IMCA Sportmod trophy in 2012 at Luxemburg Speedway. Mahlik took home the top honors in front of a hard charging Tyler Hackett. Mahlik is third in the standings 1 point behind Brian Bruechert for second. Defending champ Brad Lautenbach has a 5 point clearance.

Wes Salentine won the IMCA Hobby Stock Feature this past Sunday. Salentine started on the pole and took every challenge from Scott Boulanger to pick up the win. Tom Brumlic is the current point leader of Derek Moede.

Although Dan Van Pay knocked of another win in the 4 Cylinder division, Ralph Liegeois still holds a 7 point advantage in the standings.
