Luxemburg Implement and Showcase Kitchens Night at Luxemburg Speedway

(Luxemburg, WI)- A co sponsorship is on tap for this Friday Night, August 17th at Luxemburg Speedway. Luxemburg Implement and Showcase Kitchens will be sponsoring the races. The five regular divisions will be in action with the flagman dropping the green at 7 p.m.

Starting this Friday night, there will be a Polaris 4-wheeler underneath the grandstands. This 4-wheeler will be raffled off on Saturday September 15th; the second night of the Fall classic. Tickets can be purchased for $20.00 a ticket.

In last week’s IMCA Modified action, Shawn Kilgore increased his point lead in the standings with his win in the Bob Thielke Memorial race. He extended his point lead to 10 points over Sean Jerovetz.

Brandon Czarapata picked up his first of 3 IMCA Stockcar feature wins last Friday. Czarapata is now dead locked in second with John Heinz. Both drivers sit 8 points back of Troy Muench. Muench is currently the point’s leader at both Luxemburg and Thunderhill.

Eric Mahlik earned his second victory of 2012 in the IMCA Sportmods last weekend. Mahlik crept closer to defending champ Brad Lautenbach. With the win last week, he moved to second in points and 8 marks back of Lautenbach.

Derek Moede was awarded the feature win last week in the IMCA Hobby Stocks after a controversial finish. Moede inched to within 14 points of Tom Brumlic in the race for the championship trophy.

Calvin Stueck put a whooping on the boys in the 4 Cylinder division last Friday. Ralph Liegeois is still the point leader by 10 over Dan Van Pay.
