(Luxemburg, WI)- The Trailer Race of Destruction returns to Luxemburg Speedway this Friday Night, July 13th. Always a crowd pleaser; the event makes its return for its annual night of destruction. Victory Sign and The Todd Wiese Home Selling Team will co-sponsor the night’s events. Racing will get underway at 7 p.m.

“Dancin” Lance Arneson captured his first IMCA Modified feature win at Luxemburg Speedway in 2012 last Friday. Arneson came from the third row and ran out front by himself in the waning laps. Sean Jerovetz holds a 9 point advantage over James Tebon for the championship.

In one of the most exciting IMCA Stockcar finishes of the season; Shawn Havel passed both Larry Karcz and Brandon Czarapata coming to the white flag. He hung on to win his first feature and in doing so, moved to within 1 point of Troy Muench for the standings lead.

Brad Lautenbach’s bid for his second straight IMCA Sportmod title got a little closer last week. Lautenbach picked up his first win of the season. The bad news for Lautenbach was that Brian Bruechert finished second so he only gained 1 point. Bruechert trails by 3 marks.

Scott Boulanger has a full hand of feature wins this season in the IMCA Hobby Stocks. Boulanger leads the division with 5 wins. Tom Brumlic is still sitting pretty in the standings with an 11 point cushion on Derek Moede.

Brian Johnson earned the top honors in last week’s 4 Cylinder division. The win was his 1st of the season. Ralph Liegeois is ahead of Dan Van Pay by 11 in the race for the championship.
