(Luxemburg, WI)- As the Middle days of July hit, that also means the mid season is upon us at Luxemburg Speedway. Track points are back up for grabs with all five divisions in action this Friday night, July 12th. Racing starts at 7 p.m. Bean Boulevard and A Can Again Recycling are both the headlining sponsors.

A few visitors are already planning on taking the trip east as area travelers look to get in the winner’s circle at the speedway. To race at Luxemburg Speedway a driver must have a transponder. A deal will be held on transponders this week for all comers. $7 will rent the transponder for the evening. If a driver has rented the transponder three times this year they may buy it at a discounted price of $90.00.

James Lee Tebon picked up a $1000 payday the last time the IMCA Modifieds were in action. The event was a non-point night for the Modifieds. Shawn Kilgore is leading the division as he is searching for his first career Luxemburg IMCA Modified crown.

John Heinz got back into victory lane last week in the IMCA Stockcars. Defending champion Brandon Czarapata has a stranglehold on the standings with a 22 point edge over Shawn Havel.

Josh Long is the man atop the IMCA Sportmod standings. Both him and Jeremy Cota are searching for their first Luxemburg Speedway track titles.

Four drivers are within two points of each other in the IMCA Hobby Stock division. Wes Salentine holds a one point edge on Sawyer Haese. He holds a slim two point advantage on both Derek Moede and rookie Dan VanPay.

2-time IMCA Hobby Stock champion Keith Kickbusch is kicking the Street Stock competition. The Street Stocks look to name a new champion in their return to weekly racing at the speedway. Marcus Moede sits second in points a mere 20 back.
