(Luxemburg, WI)- One of the most decorated Late Model drivers in the United States is coming to Luxemburg Speedway. Scott Bloomquist has committed to race on Friday Night, July 5th.
“As a lot of people know, my son Joe works for Scott and they get along great. I’ve known Scott for years and he is pumped to take a little racing trip up north. He plans on racing with us on Friday night and going fishing with us the next morning on Lake Michigan.” Gene Mathu, track promoter.
While Bloomquist may be the favorite, the series regulars and local Late Model drivers will try to tame the juggernaut.
Bloomquist will be one of many drivers during the Corn Belt Clash slated to be run on Thursday, July 4th and Friday, July 5th. These show will be 2 separate shows. On Thursday, The IMCA-Style Modifieds will be running with the Late Models. On Friday, the IMCA Sportmods and IMCA Stockcars will be running for points. Racing will get underway at 7 p.m both nights.
