(Luxemburg,WI)- The Trailer Race of Destruction makes its much anticipated return to Luxemburg Speedway this Friday night August 16th. This annual night of mayhem will be in honor with part of the proceeds going to the Cory Jonet Memorial. The regular 5 divisions will also be in action. Racing goes green at 7 p.m.

Once again a trifecta of sponsors will help support the event. Simonar Sports, Manitowoc Motor and Machining and Miller Beer will all have their night to shine.

Eddie Muenster has been a visitor to the speedway this season. The former track champion picked up the win last week in the IMCA Modified feature. Shawn Kilgore has been building momentum as of late and leads Todd Dart by 17 points. Both drivers are searching for their first Luxemburg IMCA Modified title.

John Heinz picked up his first of three wins last weekend in the IMCA Stockcar division. Heinz has won the last 2 main events. Brandon Czarapata leads the points in a land slide with a 39 point cushion. Matt Junio and Rod Snellenberger share the runner-up position.

Josh Long increased his already comfortable point lead with his IMCA Sportmod feature win last week. Long has been the leader the majority of the season. Andy Kleczka and Chris Budzban are tied for second place and are 25 points back.

A familiar last name was in victory lane last week but only this time it was a different first name. Cody Junio scored his first career IMCA Hobby Stock feature win last week. Derek Moede and Sawyer Haese are both heading towards their first career track title. They’re in a dead heat in the points battle.

Mr. Unstoppable, Keith Kickbusch has gradually gained points since winning the first 5 Street Stock features of the season. He is 29 points ahead of the Marcus Moede.

In honor of former trailer race contestant Cory Jonet, Luxemburg Speedway will be raising money for a Cory Jonet Scholarship. Admission prices for Friday Night’s trailer race event will be as follows:

Adults- $12
Seniors- $9
Students- $7
