Luxemburg Speedway IMCA Hobby Stock,
Sport Four Drivers Meeting Set!

By Joe Verdegan

October 12, 2002; Luxemburg, WI. - A special meeting has been scheduled for Luxemburg Speedway drivers wishing to compete in the IMCA hobby stock and four cylinder sport four divisions at the third-mile, clay oval in 2003.

The meeting will be held Wednesday night, October 23 at 7:30 p.m. at the Lower Level of the Northbrook Country Club off county highway A in Luxemburg. The meeting is open to any driver who competed in the bomber division at either Luxemburg Speedway or Door County Speedway in the past. It is also open to driver's who are looking to build an IMCA hobby stock this winter and also to drivers with four cylinder cars.

"We wanted to get this meeting done first to give the bomber car drivers time to make plans," said Luxemburg Speedway track manager Rick Goral. "It looks like most of our bomber drivers will be converting over to the IMCA hobby stocks, along with a few new ones next year. And next year our sport four rules will mirror those of Seymour, so we'll be on the same page."

Rules will be handed out for both divisions at this meeting. Representatives from ThunderHill Raceway in Sturgeon Bay will also be on hand. "If anyone's got any questions this is certainly the meeting to attend," said Goral.

Northbrook Country Club is located one mile north of Luxemburg on county highway A. Then turn left on Northbrook Road. For more information on Northbrook Country Club call 920 845 2306.
