By Joe Verdegan

June 6, 2003; Luxemburg, WI. - Mother Nature reigned supreme at Luxemburg Speedway Friday night, as heavy rain showers washed out all main events and semi feature races. This event will not be rescheduled.

A total of 115 cars filled the pit area, which included 27 WISSOTA late models, 35 IMCA modifieds, 38 IMCA stock cars and 15 IMCA hobby stocks.

Next weekend will feature two back-to-back nights of racing at the third-mile, clay oval. Friday night June 13 a regular program featuring the track's four weekly classes will be presented by Triangle Distributing and Miller Lite beginning at 7 p.m. On Saturday night, June 14 the Bumper To Bumper IRA Outlaw 410 sprint cars will make their first appearance to the speedway in more than eight seasons. They'll be joined by the WISSOTA late models in the highest paying race in track history, as driver's in both classes will scrap for a $27,000 payout.

Spectator gates open at 5:45 p.m. on Friday night and at 5 p.m. on Saturday. Outlaw sprint car qualifying is set to commence at 6:25 with racing to follow. For more information call 920 863 8446.
