Luxemburg McCoy's Harley Davidson Classic Rescheduled for Sept. 12!
By Joe Verdegan

August 5, 2003; Luxemburg, WI. -- Officials from Luxemburg Speedway have announced a raindate for the highest paying Modified schedule in the track's history.

The McCoy's Harley Davidson Modified Classic, which was rained out on July 30, will be run on Friday night, September 12. The 50 lap feature will pay $2,000 to the winner and $100 to start. Local track modified rules will apply and a draw/redraw format will be employed.

"After looking at the schedules around Wisconsin and the Midwest there's not a whole lot going on that night in terms of big money modified specials," said track director Rick Goral. "It just fits nicely and hopefully we can draw some drivers who are finished up chasing their weekly track championship points."

In addition, the stock car division will battle for a $1,500 prize in a 40 lap contest. A car and driver entry fee of $30.00 will be charged while all other pit passes will be $20.00. The draw cutoff is at 6:40 p.m. with racing getting underway at 7 p.m. For more information call 920 863 8446. The track phone is 920 845 2300. The track's website is www.luxemburgspeedway.com.

Luxemburg Speedway is located 15 minutes east of Green Bay off highway 54 at the Kewaunee County Fairgrounds in Luxemburg.
