Seymour's Brian Mullen scored seven feature wins and five top five finishes en route to his fifth straight IMCA modified track title. In doing so Mullen ties arch rival RM Van Pay of Green Bay for winning the most track championships in that division.

Highlighting Mullen's season at the third-mile, clay oval was the $2,200 Prestige Custom Cabinets Holiday blowout victory on July 4th. Mullen beat out his brother Scott 534-477 in the final points tally.

Although he won just one feature win all year long Pulaski native Brandon Czarapata, who now calls Horicon his home, battled through the pack to nail down 10 top five finishes in the IMCA stock car  division, narrowly beating Pulaski's Rod Snellenberger in a points chase that went down to the final night of racing by a mere three points, 506-503.

Despite not winning a feature race all season long Kewaunee's Keith Kickbush was a model of  consistency all year long in the inaugural season of the IMCA hobby stock division. Kickbush, a former competitor in the street stock division, wound up in the top five nine times and beat out Wisconsin state champion Eddie Anschutz of Algoma by nine points 562-553.

Seymour's Marty Van De Hei scored six feature wins and six top five feature finishes on his way to winning the four cylinder sport four crown.

Rookie of the year honors in the IMCA modified division went to hometown driver Benji LaCrosse, who wound up winning two features in his first season in the fenderless class. Green Bay's Chris Van Iten drove to the R-O-Y honors in the IMCA stock car division while Green Bay's Dave Lane was awarded the top rookie honors in the IMCA hobby stock class.

Oostburg's Gordie Seegert captured the three race WISSOTA late model series points title while hometown driver Fred Davister won the five race street stock points series.

A total of 342 drivers in eight different divisions competed at the track during the 2003 season.

That field included 74 different IMCA modified drivers and 63 different IMCA stock car drivers.

The stock car class averaged just under 40 cars per night, making it one of the largest fields not only in Wisconsin but also the Midwest.

The 2004 season will kick off Friday night, April 30 at 7 p.m. IMCA modifieds, IMCA stock cars, IMCA hobby stocks and sport fours will compete weekly through Labor day weekend.

A complete season schedule which will include specials events with other divisions is expected to be released soon. For more information call 920 863 8446. The track's website is luxemburgspeedway.com.
