Luxemburg, WI. - Luxemburg Speedway officials are preparing for the
return of the Wisconsin Dirt Late
Model Association (WDLMA) for the fourth annual 40 lap "Battle of the 'Burg" on
Sunday, July 10 sponsored by Seubert Calf Ranches of Dorchester, WI. The original
scheduled date for the eventon June 10 was rained out.
The event pits the local WISSOTA late model favorites along with the series regulars, many
of whom are Milwaukee-area racers who compete weekly Tuesday nights at Powercom Speedzone
in Oshkosh. "Last month we had 30 cars and the rains came," said track manager
Rick Goral. "Hopefully we'll get the monkey off of our backs with Mother Nature this
time around. Seymour's off that night so we're expecting a real solid field of cars in all
of our classes."
Also competing in a full national and track points night will be IMCA modifieds, IMCA
stock cars and IMCA hobby stocks.
The pits open at 4 p.m. while the grandstand opens at 5:00 p.m. Racing gets underway at
6:30 p.m. For more information call 920 863 8446. For information on the WDLMA series call
