BUMPER TO BUMPER IRA
OUTLAWS PREP
FOR RETURN TO "THE BURG"

June 19, 2005;
Luxemburg, WI. - The fastest machines to ever tour Luxemburg
Speedway's third-mile, clay oval will
return on Sunday night, July 3. The Bumper to Bumper IRA Outlaw sprints will compete in a
full points show along with a $1,000-to-win feature for the IMCA-style modifieds.
The outlaws last appeared at Luxemburg in 2003. "We're pretty excited to be coming
back to Luxemburg," said IRA president Steve Sinclair. "From what we're hearing
the new track configuration is great with a bit more banking than when we were on there
two years ago. We should have a solid field of machines for that show."
Recently IRA hotshoe Mike Reinke took some hot laps in his Pit Stop Pizza-sponsored
machine. "There was certainly a lot of bite out there," said Reinke. "I ran
here in 2003 and the track was dry. I really like what they did with the track. With the
holiday weekend we're looking to put on a great show for these fans up here."
The modifieds will compete with the normal, weekly track rules with no claim. A
draw/redraw format will be used to lineup the feature.
A field of between 30-35 sprint cars from three states is expected. Racing starts at 6:30.
Adult admission is $16.00. Ages 13-15 get in for $8.00. 12 and under are free with a paid
adult. An autograph session will take place in the pit area from 2 p.m. to 3:45 p.m.
Admission is free to the pits for that session. A nickel toss for kids will take place at
intermission and a bike will be given away to one lucky youngster.
Luxemburg Speedway is located 15 minutes east of Green Bay off of highway 54 at the
Kewaunee County Fairgrounds. For more information call 920 863 8446. The track phone is
