LUXEMBURG SPEEDWAY PREPARES FOR PRACTICE SESSION
By Joe Verdegan

April 9, 2006; Luxemburg, WI. - Luxemburg Speedway officials have announced an open practice session will take place at the third-mile, clay oval Friday night, April 21 from 6 to 9 p.m.

The practice session is open to any car in any division. While grandstand admission is free a $20 pit fee will be charged for the driver and car. All others wishing to enter the pit area will be charged $5. Concessions will be sold in the grandstand.

In past years, drivers representing 10 different divisions have taken advantage of the practice session. "I've already fielded a lot of calls from some drivers who race north of here who are planning on coming down for our practice session," said track manager Rick Goral. "Plus, with our WDLMA (Wisconsin Dirt Late Model Association) show on May 5, I anticipate we'll draw some late models for our practice as well." The pit gates will open at 4 p.m. on Friday.

The season opens with KICKS 104.9 FM night Friday, April 28 at 7 p.m. IMCA modifieds, IMCA stock cars, IMCA hobby stocks and sport fours will compete weekly on Friday nights through Labor Day weekend. For more information call Goral at 920 863 8446. The track's website, including the 2006 season schedule is located www.luxemburgspeedway.com.
