The Burg's
victory lane is no stranger to Shawano's Tom Naeyaert. This
former Burg Pro-4 and Mod racer won the Fastrak
Feature on Friday.

Naeyaert
took his Late Model three wide to get past #85 Craig Bartz and
#89 Todd Jensema, Sheboygan Falls.
Budweiser IMCA Mod #84z Dave Zeitler won his home track feature
on Friday
night, taking the night's sweep as well. It was his first
feature win on Burg clay in 2007.
In the early stages of the Budweiser IMCA Mod feaure, heat
winners #3L Billy LeMieux and #84z Dave Zeitler battled it out
for the race lead.
Tri-County Heating IMCA Stock Car #67 Jesse Colwell tightened up
the points chase a bit on brother Jamie.

A fast race track was welcome by drivers #67 Jesse Colwell,
Wrightstown, #8 Charlie Kroll, Forestville, and #42 Ben Kroll of
New Franken.
Augie's
Sports Grill & Bar IMCA Hobby Stock #40d Tom Brumlic, Denmark,
won
his first 2007 Hobby Stock feature on Friday night.
Brumlic had to get past strong contender #90 Dan Davister to get
the race lead.

#x10 Jason
Cornelius, Oneida, won his first 2007 Sport Four feature race
ahead of Jesse Heise and Jeff Behm.
In the early going of the Sport Four feature, #48 Mark Sturm
tried to hold onto the door handle of the #10x Jason Cornelius,
but could not keep up with the faster Cornelius. |
Dave Zeitler and Billy Lemieux battled it out
for the lead in the early laps of the IMCA Modified feature event.
Zeitler cleared Lemieux using the topside and checked out. Both R.M.
VanPay and Jared Siefert passed Lemieux and their battle for second.
A caution on lap 13 for a Dan Rataczjak spin regrouped the field.
Zeitler once again checked out from both VanPay and Siefert. Zeitler
cruised to his first win of the season leading all 25 laps followed
by VanPay, Siefert, Sean Jerovetz, and Lemieux. The win gave Zeitler
a clean sweep on the night.
Dan Davister led the opening four laps of the IMCA Hobby Stock
feature until Tom Brumlic made his presence felt. Brumlic charged
from his 10th starting spot to second in two laps. Brumlic made his
was outside of Davister and snatched the lead on lap 4. On lap 8 as
Davister was making his way through lapped traffic, Brad Treml spun
out and Davister got
collected. Davister had heavy frame damage as both cars were done
for the night. Brumlic cruised away on the restart and picked up the
feature win. Brumlic won despite getting a flat tire at the
checkers. Frank Paul finished second followed by Brandon
Peterson, Jesse Kanas, and Dave DeGrave. Tyler Wilson claimed the
motor of Brumlic. Claim was accepted.
Todd Jensema led the opening laps of the Fastrak Late Model feature
event. He would continue to lead until spinning out in turn 3 on lap
5. With no caution flag, Craig Bartz inherited the lead. Bartz would
continue to lead until a Jeff Curtin spin on lap 8 regrouped the
field. On the restart, Tom Naeyart snatched second away from Jensema.
Naeyart would have to sit in second through a lap 16 caution.
Naeyart jumped to the lead on the inside of Bartz on lap 19.
He cruised to victory ahead of Bartz, Jensema, Justin Hirt, and Dan
Wanta.
The IMCA Stockcar feature was led at the drop of the green by Pat
Davister. Davister led the first three laps until Charlie Kroll and
Ben Kroll passed him for the lead. The duo would exchange the lead
for two laps until Charlie took command with Jesse Colwell right
behind. Colwell made the pass on Kroll on the inside on lap 10.
Colwell cruised away from the rest of the field. The battle for
second between Charlie Kroll and Brian Bruechert heated up with
three laps to go. Going into turn 1, Bruechert went hard into the
Kroll car pushing Kroll up the track. With the duo going at it for
the runner-up spot, Colwell cruised to the win followed by Bruechert,
C. Kroll, B. Kroll, and Kerry Havlovitz. The race went green to
checker.
Jason Cornelius picked up the 4 Cylinder feature win.
